The following t-shirt design was done in Photoshop. The masking effect was utilized as well as some text manipulation effects such as bevel, glow, and shadow. The motorcyclist in the photo is Brian Zepp, a local radio DJ icon who had donated his time to the charity event for many years.
*Due to unfortunate circumstances, however, this design never made it to print.

This below design was done in Photoshop as well and was printed on several hundred shirts for the www.floodrun.com 2014 Fall event.
The following prints were made as book inserts/posters for a Karaoke and DJ company called Margarita Mary (margaritamary.com). Created predominately in Photoshop, each print highlights a different venue that the company performs at; and the posters are customized to each location's unique style.
Midwest Motorcycle Rally (www.midwestmotorcyclerally.com) is an annual event for motorcyclists. Located in La Crosse, WI, the event is free to all participants. The below poster highlights what the rally coordinator wanted on the poster: the bike tours, the movie night, and the band. He also requested the individual names of the tours and main events to be listed as well.
* The poster header was created by the event coordinator, not myself.

The following promotional pieces were submitted to a contest for the St. Paul college student handbook cover (www.saintpaul.edu). The values and the colors of the college were integrated (though at two different brightness values) and the diversity of the student body was introduced through the two different images. Clipping mask, beveled text and outer glow were some of the effects involved.
Your Daily Smiles (www.yourdailysmiles.com) is a company producing just that...DAILY smiles. Uplifting and inspirational messages are submitted by family and friends and the recipient is instructed to open "just one a day" so that they can start each day with a smile. It's a gift that lasts for weeks after the appeal of a traditional, commercial gift would wear off. The below piece of art was created in Illustrator. I used image trace to reduce the file size and to allow for screen printing. Graphic and text styles were used, as well as effects such as 3D, drop shadow, and outer glow.
